Mailinblack, the Marseille nugget of cybersecurity, will install its anti-spam solution on Office 365.
Mailinblack, a French cybersecurity nugget, moved to Microsoft, specifically Office 365 and they saw this is an opportunity to accelerate their international development.
The Marseille company, created in 2003, will install its Human Lock Security system anti-spam solution in the package that secures cloud messaging.
According two the two companies, “With this collaboration, Microsoft France and Mailinblack will reach 3.8 million French SMEs, including 500 by the end of the year.”
Some consumers include French and international hospitals and communities, thanks in particular to the HDS (Health Data Hosting) certification obtained for Azure and Office 365 since March 2018.
In July 2019, Mailinblack recruited Thomas Kerjean, former director of Cloud & IA division of Microsoft France, as general manager.
At the same time, it raised € 14 million in funding for this project.
300 000 €, the cost of an attack
For Mailinblack, this agreement should also enable it to develop its export offer, “Microsoft will also support MailInBlack’s international development through its marketing, sales and ecosystem,” said a statement.
SMEs are a weak link in cybersecurity, less equipped in the face of increasing threats.
In the event of a cyberattack, the two companies estimate it could cost a whopping 300,000 euros or more.
This summer, Mailinblack raised € 14 million in funding from the Caisse d’Epargne and Crédit Agricole to ensure its development.
It claims to already have 9,000 customers in the public and the private sector.
